The slogan for our new Omega series rod holders is “The last rod holder you’ll ever need” and that’s exactly what we have developed. This is a truly universal solution that works flawlessly with spinning, casting, larger conventional reels, and yes – even fly rods of all sizes. A 360 degree rotating collar offers the ability to quickly secure the rod by capturing the reel, and allows spinning reels to be stowed in the natural downward position, not hung off the side. Multiple modes allow anglers to easily stage rods for quick access or lock them in for maximum security.
The Omega Rod Holder attaches to your kayak, boat, or other watercraft with YakAttack’s brand new LockNLoad mounting system, and is exactly what you would expect from the leader in track mounting technology. Offering unrivaled track mount security and adjustability, the patent pending LockNLoad track base is the most advanced track mount ever created. You want no slip? No problem. The LockNLoad track base attaches quickly and easily with a single MightyBolt, but will not accidentally rotate or loosen from the track, even when your trolling rod takes a big hit. Compatible with YakAttack MightyMount’s, GearTrac, and most other kayak track systems from Scotty Fishing Products, RAM Mounts, and YakGear. For FeelFree Kayaks, 3 Water Kayaks, and Jonny Boats you will need an adapter to be compatible. We offer the needed adapter in a single pack (AAP-1012) and a six pack (AAP-1012-6).
There are 3 modes: locked, adjustment, and removal. The patent pending design is easy to use:
- From locked mode, simply squeeze a lever to go into adjustment mode.
- In adjustment mode, the mount can be rotated in any direction, but cannot be removed, ensuring the rod holder is completely secure while making adjustments, even if a fish hits. Let go of the lever and you back in locked mode.
- To go to removal mode, flip the lever out, and the system easily slides off of the track mount.
This piece of mechanical brilliance is sure to make the LockNLoad the preferred mounting system of kayak anglers for 2018.

Very sturdy rod holder. I like the locking mechanism on the base mount. Very secure and easy to remove for packing up. Only negative i have is that it's a bit larger than I expected.
Wasn't sure I would like how big the holder was but it came with my Kayak so i used it. My rod was pretty loose in the holder but was locked in very well. After accidentally kicking out a second rod while fighting with a fish to get the hook out of his mouth, I've started using leashes on my rods. The extra room on these holders is great. I have my leashes permanently attached to my rods with zip ties and they go in and out f the holder...no problem. Got rid of the other brand and now only have YakAttack. Great holder.
I prefer these for trolling because the rod is physically locked in. But I also use the zooka 2 and its nice for casting because its one handed to access. Both styles are well built and the lock n load makes it a breeze to clean up
easy to use. Can be used on multiple rod setups. Planning on getting a couple more
Rock solid with extreme adjustability! Truly the last rod holder you will purchase.
I like my Omega so much I got a 2nd one. It securely holds every rod/reel combo I try it with. The adjustability of the base is better than all the others I've looked at from other brands. Being able to turn the rod holder from side to side knowing it's still secure to the base and won't fall in the water is nice. Everything just works well with it.
Haven't used it yet but it I did mount it on my kayak. Easy to use, strong, and I like the low profile when you remove the top holder part.
If you own a kayak with the pre-installed accessory rails or you’ve installed the accessory rails after the fact get this rod holder. It’s strong and sturdy and installs securely faster than you can blink
The best rod holder out there. Versatile and tough.
Haven't used it yet but it mounted to the track well can't wait to try it
