The cellblock is an excellent product. It appears to be unbreakable and can take rough treatment which we all know happens on a watercraft. This should last a very long time.
I wish I could write this review after actually having some time on the water with my Cellblok but up here in Canada we are still dealing with ice on most of our waterways. That didn't stop me from getting it all rigged up on my yak though. The Cellblok was super easy to assemble and is made of really good tough materials. My Humminbird battery fits nice and snug inside and from the looks of it will stay nice and dry inside. I love how Yakattack has already half predrilled holes on the underside of the top which allows you to properly install the base for your certain fish finder. There is also room for you to attach a transducer deployment arm on top of the Cellblock as well. There are two hook style arms on the side which allow you to wind up any long cords for your fishfinder or transducer. All in all making the Cellblok an awesome do it all package! I've got mine all rigged up and ready to go on my gear track and patiently waiting for spring to arrive. Very cool idea Yakattack!! Can't wait to see what you guys will come up with next!! Cheers guys & Tight Lines!!!
This cell block along with the switch blade and Hummingbird sonar mount made the perfect one piece setup with no loose cables. Installs in seconds on my Jackson Cuda 12 and removes just as easy,
The battery fits perfect and is what I had hoped for for battery storge and to install both GPS and switch blade arm to. Take your time to read all the intructions carefully.
Mounted it using Velcro inside the center console of my Cuda HD. It does take up a fair amount of room, but makes a very secure and stable platform for your battery..
The cell block works great for me on my Feel Free Lure kayak. I like the versatility without having to dedicate a battery box, depth finder and transducer to one particular kayak. I recommend this product.
This is a great item for mounting depth finder without have to drill hole in your hull. would recommend this to kayak owners.
